How should mopeds be equipped?

When traveling on public roads, the moped must be equipped with:

a) effective braking system;

b) sound warning system;

c) flue gas exhaust system that complies with noise pollution and environmental protection standards;

d) white light in front, red fluorescent/reflective light and device in the back;

e) yellow lights to signal the change of direction of travel, in front and behind;

f) the plate with the registration number, located at the back.

• It is forbidden to install lights of a different color or intensity, other lights, warning devices or accessories than the approved ones on the moped.
