You can use the European Health Insurance Card during a temporary stay in any of the 26 European Union member states (excluding Romania), in the member countries of the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), on the territory of the Swiss Confederation, and on the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
