The European Health Insurance Card is issued to you free of charge by the Health Insurance Fund to which you are insured. However, if you have lost the card and request a duplicate, you will be required to pay a fee of 8.33 lei, either at the cashier’s office of the Health Insurance Fund or through a bank transfer.
