What is the survivor’s pension?
A survivor’s pension is a monthly allowance corresponding to a percentage of the pension that the deceased person received or would have received.
Children up to the age of 16, or over 16 if the adolescent continues their studies in a form of education organized according to the law until completion, without exceeding the age of 26, are entitled to a survivor’s pension.
Additionally, the surviving spouse may receive the pension if the duration of the marriage was at least 15 years.
