Do all employees contribute to the social security budget?
In Romania, every employee and employer contributes to the social security budget, the healthcare fund, the unemployment fund, as well as the state budget through salary taxes.
The rates of social contributions and the value of other taxes are determined annually by the Law on the State Social Security Budget and the State Budget Law.
